Wood Creek Lodge

I love spending time a Wood Creek Lodge. It is so peaceful. It is great place to go to get away from today"s hectic life. The owner is like extended family after the first visit. Even when it rains it is a great place to rest and clear my mind. I recommend this lodge for fishing, boating, and relaxing.

Beautiful scenery, comfortable rooms furnished with unique antique furniture. Outdoor kitchen and deck area are my favorite! Enjoy a nice fire on the deck and wonderful food (if you decide to have Rebecca cook for you). Peaceful is the word to describe this quiet escape in the woods overlooking Woodcreek lake.

Took a group of men and boys from church to WOLF Creek Lodge for a couple of days. Everyone had a great time fishing and kayaking. The outdoor kitchen was amazing for a group like ours.

The lodge is tucked in the woods, right by the lake. The view of the lake was amazing. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our room had two Queen beds, TV and bathroom with a shower. The mattress and pillows were so so comfortable and I hadn’t sleep that good in a very long time. I would love to get those pillows for my own bed at home. The AC was located inside the bathroom which was not a problem I just turned it off until after I showered. There was an outdoor kitchen and sitting area. Annie, was very helpful and always returned our text messages in a timely manner. The restaurants she recommended for us had the best food. I would 100% recommend Wood Creek Lodge for your Kentucky getaway.

Wood Creek Lodge is close to home but felt like we were a million miles away. We love visiting Kentucky Lake's and have NEVER experienced genuine hospitality like this before. We drove 2 hours to a lake that most people have never heard of because we seen a photo of this beautiful lodge by the lake. Rebecca, I felt like I took a 10 hour plane ride and landed at your property. Keep it a hidden gem. Anyone who goes there wants it all to themselves!

My family and extended family from St. Liuis rented out the entire lodge for a stay during a wedding this October. Rebecca, the owner was an unbelievable host that went far above and beyond. She made herself available 24/7 and even went to meet some grandparents at the highway to lead them back to the lodge when they had trouble finding it! She took a group photo with us before leaving and exchanged hugs. She's a gem. The view of the lake was beautiful and it's a very quiet and peaceful location. Morning coffee in the huge covered outdoor kitchen space while the fog rolls off the lake is PRICELESS, as was our family gathering to hang out the night before there while a rainstorm passed us by. The rooms and everything else about the lodge is super unique as other reviews have mentioned. Also, worth noting - the beds AND pillows were VERY comfortable. Several people in our group asked about the pillows and mattresses (most were Beauty Rest mattresses and some pricey brand pillow - we know because my extremely pillow-picky fiance took a picture of his and looked it up online so he could buy one, lol). Rooms were small and quaint and had everything you could need including small kitchenette area with sink, microwave, electric stove top, mini fridge, dishes, wash clothes, dish soap, clean towels for days, carefully chosen vintage decor and stacks of unique books for every interest. The owner has put a lot of her heart and soul into this hidden gem and making people feel at home and it shows.

I absolutely recommend Wood Creek Lodge! The lodge has new owners and was newly renovated, clean, beautifully decorated. The outdoor kitchen was fully stocked, fire pits and a grill were also available. My room was very comfortable, clean, smelled fresh. The lodge is located in the woods, right at the lake, the view is amazing! It's a very peaceful place. Kayaks were available to use.
